Fataki Lokassa’s Bana Ngenge were one of the earlier Congolese bands to make an impact on the Kenyan scene. They also recorded for Bana Moja, Musiki du Zaire and Editions Babu.

All three of these singles were recorded and published by Jaca Productions and produced by AC Kochomo, a Kisumu producer who worked often with Luo bands such as Orch Sega-Sega.
