JAKONG’O OLEWO

One of two singles by this presumably Luo band in the University of California’s A&M Records archive. The other is on Arum Koga.

The band had an LP, Miss Rhodesia, out in 1977, which gives a cue as to time frame.

Jakong’o Olewo in Dholuo means “A drunk is always late”, one of the better label names in music history.
